At $49.99 with a 2-year contract, the Nokia Lumia 710 seemed quite tempting right out of the gates when it was launched, but then its price was slowly chomped down to $39.99, and eventually to that lovable free price point. Naturally, postpaid customers have been relishing in the love of being able to check out the first Nokia Windows Phone in the US, but it appears as though it’s making its way to the carrier’s prepaid lineup as well.
For a brief moment in time, T-Mobile had the Nokia Lumia 710 selling for $200 no-contract with free shipping online, but it seems that the deal has expired and the smartphone has been pushed back to its normal $349.99 pricing. Nevertheless, it might still prove to be big savings for those individuals that don’t want to be a slave to a contract of some kind.
Considering that most smartphones sell outright for $500 and above, this $349.99 pricing isn’t bad at all – though, we have to admit it’s still a tossup. Specifically, it’s either this or forking out nothing to pick it up with a contract, which would mean paying T-Mobile either way for service.
